Application-to-Business Mapping sounds abstract until you trace a single interaction through the stack. Someone finds us, fills in a form, and that signal has to land somewhere useful. Right now it lands in Dolibarr — the pipeline, the ticket, the third-party record. But before that, it probably touched WordPress (contact form), and after it, any documents we exchange live in Nextcloud under /Sales. Three systems, one person, no single source of truth unless someone is paying attention.
What I notice from the sales side: the mapping is not wrong, it is just thin. Dolibarr is doing CRM work it was not primarily designed for. It handles it fine, but the seams show when you try to connect a proposal to a Nextcloud folder or trace why a lead went cold. The data lives in different places and the path between them is manual.
Phase C is asking us to document what exists. What I would add from the pipeline perspective: document the gaps as carefully as the connections. The map of what our applications do is also a map of where a person can fall through. That matters most when the person on the other end is a school or community org that found us because they had nowhere else to go.
